MACCAWS “The Kit”
MACCAWS (Making A Commercial Case for Adopting Web Standards)' mission is to provide Web authors with the resources necessary to promote Web standards as a commercially desirable choice for clients.
They published white paper and standards primer dubbed as “The Kit” and released under Creative Commons license in 2004.
Japanese translation was done in such a way that even people with little knowledge of Web standards will be able to understand how they can benefit from implement Web standards. Slight edits and additional information (e.g. Japanese law concerning Web accessibility and increasing population over the age of sixty) was provided to cater to Japanese audiences better.

Dive into Accessibility
The original tutorial was written by Mark Pilgrim in 2002. Using Weblog templates as an example, it explains “hows”and“whys”of Web accessibility issues.
Although today's Weblog publishing platforms have templates that validates better, quite a few tips from this tutorial can be applied not only to blogs but Web sites in general.
Outdated information were updated as needed.

Web Standards Project
Do you ever wonder why Web designers get to tell you that the browser you're using is “wrong”? We wouldn't tolerate the same on TV—“To watch this program, we recommend a monitor 21" or bigger, purchased within the last two years, preferably by the brand X,”—so why do we put up with this on the Web?
Web Starndards Project is a grassroots coalition that tries to answer that question, find solutions to problems the Web faces today, and more.
The topic includes technical terms and issues which was successfully translated into Japanese that is easy to understand.

CSS Zen Garden
Japanese translation for CSS Zen Garden. CSS Zen Garden demonstrates what can be accomplished visually through CSS-based design.
Japanese version kept sincere and friendly tone of the English original.

Webjungle Japanese version
Japanese version of Web site for a multicultural design/marketing company Jungle Communications, Inc. in California.
The goal was not just to have the site translated into Japanese, but to create something which itself can serve as an example of what localization can do for a target audience with a different cultural/linguistic background.
Illustrations and icons were adapted to reflect Japanese culture while keeping the overall look and feel of the English original.
Hate Crime Network
Hate Crime Network provides support to the victims of hate crimes and discrimination based on one's characteristic such as race, gender, religion, sexual orientation and disability among others. (English Original.)
