Helping Heart Foundation
Helping Heart Foundation is a non-profit organization in Canada dedicated to helping multiracial/multicultural and non-English speaking children and youths become part of the Canadian society.
This site was created to promote their activities and to provide opportunities to volunteer or donate to the cause.
All the “conversations” and approval process for this project took place virtually via teleconference and email exchange because the production members and the client were in different states/countries.

Webjungle Japanese version
Japanese version of Web site for a multicultural design/marketing company Jungle Communications, Inc. in California.
The goal was not just to have the site translated into Japanese, but to create something which itself can serve as an example of what localization can do for a target audience with a different cultural/linguistic background.
Illustrations and icons were adapted to reflect Japanese culture while keeping the overall look and feel of the English original.

CSOC
Children's System of Care is comprised of four organizations of city of San Francisco and aims to better physical and mental health of children and youth of the city.
The Web site was created to give members of CSOC better access to documents as well as to provide information to the general public about the organization and its services.
Bulletin board was incorporated to improve the internal communication process as well as to serve as a depository of information.

Boy Scout of Nippon
Official Web site for Japanese Boy Scout. Thorough research has been done prior to production in order to ensure that the needs of the target audiences are met. [Japanese and English]
Related research includes but not limited to: analysis of exsisting sites for Boy Scouts worldwide, interviews to children and adult members of the scouts, and statistics compiled from questionnaires (questions prepared by the production team, answered by hundreds of children in grade school.)
